In the Beginning : Before man walked the earth the two worlds, the lands of the living and the realms of the dead where as one. Beings from the Orkus lived between the two and revelled in the untamed earth. Ruled over by more powerful beings the lesser denizens of the Orkus began to see the Living Lands as a way to break free from their rulers and gain a little piece of power for themselves. The rulers, the Titans cast a great spell to draw the lesser demons back into the Orkus and to close the veil. King Offa, The Great Ox, King of the Jutes comes to the island of Gotland to see Edda, the North Witch. Beset on all sides by enemies, Offa has come to see the Volva for guidance, to divine a way out of his predicament. After fulfilling the blood price Edda castes the runes and foresee's the King's future, along with the coming of Fenir, the wolf, son of Loki. Displeased by the news she gives him, Offa leaves her to brooding over the image of the giant wolf devouring Odin and takes it as a sign as the first days of Raganorok. Character D

Four Corners: El Cupacabra Page breakdown. PAGE 1 1. Close up of the feral looking peasant girl the locals call El Chupacabra. Blood  splattered she stares at us, mouth full of pointed teeth. 2.Panning out and looking over El Chupacabra's shoulder we see her kneeling next to the gutted corpse of a bull cow. Entrails spread out on the dirt. She pulls a bloody organ to her mouth, her hands curled into claws. She wears a blood splattered checked dress.It's late afternoon. 3.Same scene, reversed angle, looking straight at El Chupacabra as she interrupts her meal  and looks over her shoulder at the sound of nearby gunfire. Add sound effect.

Story opens with Scarlet sitting in a shadowed bathroom, laying in a bathtub of deep water, hair plastered to her head, mouth in the water. she stares into space as she recalls the details of her past. It's not evident that we are far into the future yet. She stands in front of the bathroom cabinet mirror and takes a long hard look at herself, she talks about her condition like it's an illness and her poor health is reflected to her in the mirror. Out in the hallway she picks up a photo frame, a picture of a loving family, her fingers stroking at the glass with affection. She starts to talk about how her job and her illness take her furthe
